As part of the national modernization programme out by Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa), our firm was appointed as part of a consortium of professionals to upgrade and extend uMngeni Train Station in Durban.The Primary focus areas we were to look at were , Station capacity adequacy, Station modernisation using latest technology and adherence to latest Prasa corporate Identity, optimisation of the station operational excellence , standardize spatial arrangements and to enhance dignified passenger & work environments.
This Train station is to be linked to the Rapid Transport System of the eThekwini Municipality.
