Nestled within indigenous fauna and flora with a backdrop of waterfall with an echo of cascading waters and the sweet sounds from the singing birds and soft growling sounds of the indigenous living species is a new convention centre.
Deeply inspired by the various shapes of animal skins ,the African tortoise shield , and it's natural setting, the building is designed for efficiency, balance resilience and sustainability .
The design, abides by the suns path, the seasons that change during the year, the contextual setting and complete connection to the nature’s back drop. It belongs where it is to be built.
The building comprises of expo halls, the plenary hall, a 5 star hotel with related amenities, restaurants all tied up by a central meandering concourse feeding to giant north facing verandas. All services and cars are buried underground to minimize the visual impact .
The indoor and outdoor spaces are inter-wovenly linked by friendly permeable skin of the building consisting of glass where required and open spaces where required.
