Our brief was to convert an old waiting area in a train station into a lounge to be used by business class commuters. We were to design the reception area including its furniture,fittings ,lighting, specify furniture, procure artwork, create a bar, computer and internet stations .Basically we had to do a general revamp to the existing given space under the hospices of Prasa corporate identity umbrella. Materials chosen had to be hard wearing,functional and aesthetically pleasing. Glass partitions were used to define private spaces which needed some sound protection but still creating the feeling of space and being part of the waiting lounge.
