The community of Bhambayi situated approximately 27km to the north of Durban, in the District of Inanda,eThekwini Municipality, KwaZulu-Natal determined the need for an emblematic structure that would serve to retrieve and embrace the community life while remembering and commemorating the echo of the victims of the violence experienced in the mid 1980's and in the 1990's during the years of challenging instability in South Africa.
As part of the considerations of mutual restitutions for victims with which it seeks to turn the page of violence, the building will house community rehabilitation facilities like Health care ,Law and Order services ,Social services ,basic institutional reform and educational facilities.
Building Components
+ Community Multi-Purpose Hall for weddings, funerals,etc.
+ Classrooms to provide skills development classes
+ Administration Offices for the ward committee
+ Satellite Police Station facility
+ Satellite Primary Health facility
+ Memorial Wall for the displaying the Bhambayi fallen heroes
